My husband Randy and I had a dream to own our own business. In 1999, we brought that dream to life and started selling gloves out of the trunk of our 1992 Mercury Topaz. Randy’s innate entrepreneurial spirit and desire to help others propelled our vision into reality, and in 2011 we expanded beyond gloves into what Becker Safety and Supply is today.

In 2016 Randy was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Throughout his battle with cancer, Randy proudly supported and mentored our son Devin as he stepped in to lead the day-to-day operations. On April 13, 2020, God called Randy Home. In those four years, God’s sovereignty was evident as He prepared the family to continue Randy’s legacy at Becker Safety and Supply. Randy was and will always remain the foundation of our family and our company.

The last few years have been full of significant change and transition for our business and our family as we navigated through the pandemic and dealt with the loss of Randy. We completed a spin-off of our first responder division into its own separate company, Becker First Responder CO, now led by Devin.

I am still involved with both businesses as the Corporate Matriarch, aka “Mama B”, helping wherever possible. We have the BEST team around, led by our longtime team member Brett Lawhead. They do an incredible job fulfilling Randy’s goals, dreams, and visions. They continue to honor Randy by upholding his high standards as we serve our customers here in Northern Colorado.
